Ram

Here is a proposed moveset for Ram (CV: Rie Murakawa), designed for a high-speed platformer on PS5 and Nintendo Switch with a control scheme inspired by Mega Man X.
1. Basic Movement & Combat (X-Series Logic)
  • Dash / Air Dash: Uses wind mana to propel herself. She has a dedicated air dash for vertical/horizontal correction.
  • Wall Kick: Utilizing her superhuman Oni reflexes.
  • Main Weapon: Fura (Wind Magic):
    • Tap: Rapidly fire invisible wind blades that travel across the screen.
    • Charge (El Fura): Release a single, massive wind blade with high velocity and piercing properties.
2. Special Skills (Controller Mapping)
Skill (Button)NameEffect
Skill 1 (Square/Y)Ul FuraScreen-Clear: Rewrites the atmosphere to create sporadic, omni-directional wind blades that shred all on-screen enemies.
Skill 2 (Triangle/X)ClairvoyanceUtility: Synchronizes senses with local creatures to reveal hidden platforms, enemy weak points, and items off-screen.
Skill 3 (Circle/A)Al FuraUltimate: A devastating torrent of wind that causes massive damage and can burst enemy defenses.
3. Unique System: "The Shackles" (Limit Break)
Because Ram lacks a horn, her body is under a constant burden.
  • Mana Burn: Using high-tier magic (Ul/Al) fills a Limit Gauge. If it overflows, Ram enters a "Stun" state (exhaustion) for several seconds.
  • Release Shackles (R1 + L1 / R + L): Manually unfasten her mental shackles to enter Oni Mode. For 10 seconds, she has infinite mana, increased flight speed, and her attacks ignore enemy armor, but her health drains rapidly during this state.
4. Equipment Logic
  • Roswaal's Wand: Acts as a passive buff to magic efficiency, reducing the mana cost of Fura spells.
  • Magic Coat: Provides resistance to status effects like "Frozen" or "Burnt".
To implement a Ram moveset on PS5 and Nintendo Switch with a focus on a Zero-Damage / Control Guard, you can utilize her wind magic for "Area Control" and "Projectile Negation."
Defensive Controls (PS5 & Switch)
ActionControl (PS5 / Switch)Description
Wind Veil (Guard)Hold L1 / LRam creates a stationary Wind Barrier. It deals 0 damage but completely nullifies incoming projectiles and pushes back melee attackers.
Gust ParryTap L1 / L (Timing)A "Just Guard." If timed right, Ram reflects projectiles back at the enemy without dealing damage herself—forcing the enemy to hit themselves.
Gale BurstL1 + Square / L + YA defensive "Shove." Ram releases a short-range wind burst. It does no damage but inflicts a massive Knockback and "Stagger" effect to reset the neutral game.
Support & Control Mechanics
  • Clairvoyance (R2 / ZR): As a defensive utility, this highlights incoming "Off-screen" attacks with a red warning, allowing you to prepare your Wind Veil guard in advance.
  • Fura Descent (Hold Jump): While in the air, Ram can use her wind magic to slow her fall (hovering). This is a purely defensive movement to avoid ground-based hazards.
  • Mana Exhaustion (Guard Limit): Since Ram has no horn, holding the Wind Veil guard for too long increases her Limit Gauge. If the gauge fills, the guard breaks, leaving her temporarily stunned and vulnerable.
Strategy: "Control over Power"
In this platformer style, your "Guard" is not just for survival—it's for Positioning. Use the Gale Burst to push enemies into environmental hazards (like spikes or pits) rather than attacking them directly. This stays true to her lore as a character who must manage her limited mana carefully while dominating the battlefield with superior technique.
